CAITLYN SCOW

Caitlyn grew up in Pocatello, Idaho dancing under the direction of Paula Madsen beginning at age 4. She began with styles of Ballet and Tap continuing with another local studio in styles of Jazz and Lyrical. Caitlyn competed locally and nationally in studio dance and with the Pocatello High School Dance Team earning numerous awards and state titles. After high school she pursed higher education at Idaho State University continuing her dance training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern and Contemporary.  Caitlyn was also a member of the Bengal Dancers at ISU placing in the top 3 at Nationals. 

 

A job opportunity for her husband brought Caitlyn and her family to Nampa in 2018.  With over 15 years of teaching experience students 18 months to adults, she continued her teaching at studios in the valley, local performing groups, as well as master classes with the College of Idaho. 

 

Caitlyn’s passion for teaching and commitment to dance education in a wholesome environment prompted the conversion of the families double car garage into opening Rise Dance Academy in 2021. The studio has blossomed moving into a commercial space located in Nampa.  Caitlyn now teaches 6 days a week her 150+ dance “babies”  helping them Rise to their fullest. 

 

Caitlyn and her husband Jordan, have 4 children keeping them busy with homeschooling, dancing, football and jiujitsu. She is excited to continue sharing her joy and passion of dance and can’t wait to perform in her first season with Fuse.
